                    2019/20 | graduation collection & catwalk: sustainable fashion

The Goethe-Institut Izmir and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Department of Fashion and Textile Design at Izmir University of Economics have put their collaboration for the year 2020 under the theme of sustainability.

The class of 2020 has designed sustainable fashion collections taking into account one or more of these categories:

zero waste | convertible | circular fashion | ecological | slow fashion.

                        2018/19 | graduation collection & catwalk: bauhaus 100

​

 

Celebrating 100 Years of German Bauhaus Design resulted in a fashion show and an exhibition in Izmirs cultural center (Ahmet Adnan Saygun Sanat Merkezi) in collaboration with the Goethe-Institute Izmir. The graduation collections inspired by famous works of the BAUHAUS school were put on public display in an exhibition and a fashion show.
