FASHION DESIGN IN COOPERATION WITH ÜNITEKS

The project aims to improve students‘ awareness of industrial fashion production.

 

Üniteks and Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FFAD) developed a joint project for the ready-made clothing industry. Instructor Jörn Fröhlich coordinated the 4th year fashion design studio, managing the design, production and presentation of the student collections.

Within the scope of the project implemented between October 2021 and June 2022, Üniteks provided online and face-to-face trainings to students on various sectoral subjects, especially fabric training, in line with the project demands. In addition, the designers from Üniteks design team mentored the students and supported them throughout the industrial production process.

Jörn Fröhlich is a stage and costume designer experienced in theater, exhibition design, vcd, fashion design, visual merchandising in fashion retail and interdisciplinary design education at university level.
